Visit Emory is an annual multi-session event for students admitted to programs at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health. Designed to help admitted students explore how Rollins aligns with their professional and personal goals, the event offers a welcoming, in-depth campus experience. For the 2024 event, our goal was to boost event visibility and encourage admitted students to register and attend.
What I Did
Collaborated with the admissions team to develop and implement a targeted marketing strategy for maximizing visibility and engagement with prospective students.
Channels:
Email, social media, and the admitted student website.
Deliverables:
• Created a communications plan for email and social media, highlighting key messages leading up to the event.
• Boosted organic social posts to targeted audiences on Meta and LinkedIn.
• Developed content outlines for Instagram, featuring interactive games and coverage per session to engage attendees and encourage account follows.
• Executed post-event social posts and follow-up email communications for registrants.
• Designed graphics for use across all platforms.
Results
17% registrant increase from previous year.
70% of registrants attended the event.
